Man Van London Removals and Laziness: Child’s View

By Simon Newton on September 21, 2011 in Home Moving Tips

man van London“Jimmy, come down and help your dad. We are leaving tomorrow dear.” Oh no, this is a disaster! They are just showing Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones. Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi have just surrounded count Dooku. They all draw their lightsabers…wow, shiny swords! And what is this? My mom calls for me. Nah, this is way better than packing! I think I’ll weasel out and continue watching. Here is how to do it – the stubborn way.

Your mother needs you and she already called the home removals London to help with the packing. You on the other hand, have no intention of helping. You will either call her off and she will go away or you will do the same and she will continue with the annoyance, by coming directly to your room. Let’s go over the possibilities.

Having your way with words
She is currently not in your room, therefore she doesn’t see what you are doing. Perfect! Make yourself sound occupied (she will not tolerate inactivity). Saying “Not right now!”, with that exact tone is your best bet. If that doesn’t work make yourself unavailable by pointing out that you are naked or took a shower. Even give the excuse that you just turned your room upside-down and you are not accepting visitors right now. Either way, one of these is bound to work.

Blasted mother, why wont you go away
The cheapest removals London, along with your dad are all packing. You parents payed money for this. Now she’s angry and she’s coming to see what you are really doing. Quickly! Turn off the TV, start walking back and forward. Mom enters, and with an angry voice she starts yelling. Fight fire with fire. Adjust your voice as equal and and tell her, that your have too much on your mind right now. That way she is bound to go away for good.

“Parent’s view” coming soon…
